What Has Been Added to the 2018 Impala?
Check out the following features Chevrolet included in the new Impala design.
Eight-Inch Touchscreen Display
The 4.2-inch stereo standard in most of the 2017 trims has been replaced in
all 2018 Impala trims with Chevy’s MyLink Radio, which offers an eight-inch color touchscreen display. This display will also raise up from the dashboard, revealing a hidden storage cubby with USB port that can serve as a secure place to leave your phone to charge while when you’re not in the vehicle. The screen can be locked in the down position with a PIN code.

Keyless Entry & Push-to-Start
In addition, all 2018 Impala trims include a compass display, providing you with the assurance of knowing you’re heading in the right direction. Also added is the rear vision camera, which allows you to ensure that nothing is hidden when in reverse. With keyless entry and start, you can stop digging through your pocket or purse to find your keys. Simply sit down, put your foot on the brake, push the start button, and you’re on your way.
LED Daytime Running Lights
The LT and higher trims of the new Chevrolet Impala now come standard with remote start, allowing you to start your car before you are ready to leave. This means you can more quickly cool off your cabin, seats and steering wheel during our scorching Arizona summers. The Chevrolet LT model also now has LED daytime running lamps, ensuring that you will be visible to oncoming traffic in any condition.
Universal Home Remote & Wireless Charging
With everything mentioned so far, the 2018 Impala Premier takes convenience to a whole new level. The Premier’s MyLink Radio comes standard with Navigation and connects to a powerful
Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound speaker system. The
Universal Home Remote can be programed to activate up to three of your home’s devices, such as your garage door, home security system and lighting. Charging and powering your devices is even easier with the new Chevy Impala Premier, now that wireless charging for compatible devices and a 120-volt power outlet have been added to its standard features.
